This is an Imperial Brown Ale with Spices
L: A nice looking beer with a deep brown opaque look.
S: A subtle biscuity note in the smell, but otherwise very little nose in this beer.
T: A nice assertive, sturdy, bold malt flavor with some initial bitterness and a noticeable taste of sourness on the back end accompanied by a nice level of sweetness. There is a note of the spices identified on the label, but nothing that seems overtly present. The taste improves as the beer warms up.
F: Decent level of carbonation.
Overall: Not a bad beer. A good assertive brown ale, but needs some polishing to clean up some off flavors with the sourness.
