Billed as a nondescript Pale Ale, with neither American nor India specified. The hops are a blend of Citra and Nelson, which is pretty intriguing.
Growler poured on a Saturday morning and consumed on a Wednesday night.
Beer pours pale and dark yellow. Some chill haze, nice lacing.
Smells of dry white wine, with the Nelson blotting out the Citra. Tastes the same at first, but as it warms up the dry nelson is balanced out by tropical juiciness of the citra and some chewy yeast complexities. It never *quite* comes together the way I think these guys meant for it to, with passion fruit juiciness bursting out of a reisling-like base, but the effect is still interesting and tasty all throughout.
