This one pours a gurgly dark black, with few small bubbles that could constitute as a head. There's no lacing.
This smells crazy nutty- hazelnut and peanut butter, really, with some hints of strawberry, and lots of chocolate syrup.
The strawberry is surprisingly muted for me, given it's described as a strawberry stout. It's way more nutty, reminded me of a baby Yellow Belly, with great silky peanut butter and hazelnut flavors. The base milk stout is pretty chocolatey and tastyy, but pretty sweet. It finishes a bit flat, but tastes great up front.
This has a soft and velvety mouthfeel, with a pretty low level of carbonation.
I guess this beer was made for some comic book store so it's pretty limited/rare? I don't know much about it, but it was definitely fun to try. The North always nails stouts.
