a hazy pale ale that really does border on the edge of ipa, its dry hopped like crazy and bitterness is in fact quite moderate, but the pure amount of hops in here has to push it to the precipice of ipa. its very cloudy, pale orange colored and holds a nice head from the tap. it smells and tastes a little bit sweet and unfinished on the grain side, but the bit of sugar left help balance the hops some, which are citrus forward and very fresh to me, orange flesh, pineapple, and sticky weed come to mind, and its a lot on the palate, heavy for a pale ale and for its lower abv, i was a bit hungover when i got into this one, but i couldnt drink more than one of them. the hops are nice, but the rest of the beer seems a little amateur to me, and it could use some cleaning up, as well as some more carbonation. i had heard a ton of great things about this little place, but i left a little but underwhelmed after visiting, the beer across the board was just okay, and this one sort of sums up the whole experience. fine, but unremarkable.
