a pale featuring cascade and centennial hops, a little less hazy than the nancy reagan dreams, the other hoppy one they had while i was in, but still with some obvious cloudiness to it. good head from the tap though, and a pretty basic beer overall, rightly proportioned, nicely hopped, fresh tasting, and pretty drinkable at this abv. the fermentation seems like it got cut off a touch before this was all the way done, i get a little leftover sweetness from the grain, and reckon it would be even better if it was dried completely, but its not, and it seems just a little amateur as a result, which was a theme across a lot of the beer in here, some of it quite ambitious and tasty, but still in need of some professional refinement. the hops have just a bit of bitterness, more dry hoppy to me, vegetal and green in a good way, oily too, with light pine, wet grass, and fresh sliced grapefruit essences. nice as a morning beer i would think, and as a first beer of the day certainly. nothing to write home about as they say, but a serviceable pint, its obvious freshness helps a lot...
