From a crowler.
Slightly hazy reddish amber, with light white head.
Smell is molasses, slight caramel, leather, cured wood, shellac, and a little dried strawberry.
Taste is fig, date, raisin, leather, slight pine and dried strawberry. Mild pleasant bitterness that lingers after finish. No noticeable alcohol.
Feel is smooth, lightly oily, with moderate, very, very fine carbonation. Slight warming on the tongue after finish.
Overall , very enjoyable, and something I would have again. One of the better beers that I've had from The North.
