A triple threat collaboration brewed with Liquid Shoes Brewing & Pilger Ruh Brewing, Admiral Disco is a 5% American pastry smoothie sour. It was brewed with an abundance of flaked oats & flaked wheat on top of our Vienna & base malts. With added passion fruit, banana, copious amounts of cocoa nibs, and a dusting of marshmallow for a groovy flavor experience.

Pours murky amber, with a short-lived off-white head comprised of fine bubbles. Slight lacing forms on the inside of a Pretentious Beer Glass Company "Sparkles" dimpled mug.
The aroma is similar to sweet passion fruit with light pine followed by mandarin orange peel.
The flavor is quite tart without dominating. Sweetness is a full step behind, and acidity follows at a modest distance. Mango is the most prominent fruit, with a clear presence of passion fruit. The cocoa is absent, although coconut water does seem to be present along with marshmallow. A long, light sour finish leads one to the next sip.
A medium body with a coarse, silk texture and light alcohol. The carbonation is modest to light.
This was a pleasant beer which I enjoyed outside on a mild, sunny, May afternoon.
