No canning date, other than "April 2021" Instagram post indicates release date of 4/23/21. Let warm for 10 minutes before opening.

Ruby red, with slight orange tint. Light, very fine pink head.

Smell : :O I'm having grandparent flashbacks . It's mostly cherry , that suddenly reminds me of Grandpa H.'s homemade chokecherry wine .(Judging by adult reaction at the time, it was VERY dry. ;) ) That is , similar to dried cherry, or "natural" cherry soda, with some alcohol presence. There is some slight vanilla, that reminds me of Grandma H.'s whole vanilla beans, that were always around for various baking adventures. They had been soaked in some kind of spirit - not sure what. :) That combination is in this beer.
Slight bread crust aroma, as the head fades, & the beer warms.

Taste is the usual cream ale dry bread crust flavor, plus cherry cough syrup - but better and less sweet. A slight creamy vanilla taste lingers after finish. Light bitterness.

Feel is light-medium, a little juicy , with moderate very, very fine carbonation. Dry finish that leaves the tongue feeling lightly scrubbed.

Overall , I like it, but could do with a bit less of the cough syrup-ish element. Not sure if having this at such a high abv (for the style) is helpful. It's very young, so maybe some age will help it? It is getting better as it warms. I'll wait a week (or more) before cracking open another.
