Poured into a becker pint glass; no head from even a rough pour, but that's my fault, the growler (growlette) is a day old since it was filled and I've driven around with it in the car. Smooth oily brown pour, black as night in the glass. Smell is sweet toffee and chocolate malt, dark bread and slight hops. Smells similar to, yet distinct from its predecessor. Taste is sweet at first, and then hops come out of nowhere, way more present than the smell suggested. Bitter hops roil through the rest of the flavor, which has lots of dark bread, coffee and bitter chocolate. Loving how complex this one is; mouthfeel seems a bit off but that's probably due to my abuse of the growler, not the beer itself.
