Upon hearing this described partly as wine-like, I poured it into a teku glass. Translucent yellow/orange/red/pink all at the same time, with a thin contrasting white head that leaves lots of delicate lacing. Smell is some sweet malt, big citrusey hops and some sweet strawberry/grapefruit/berry-like flavors and vinous characters. Taste is just about the same; huge juicy grapefruit hops, followed by a very tasty sweeter grape/berry wine-like flavor which tempers the alcohol, ending with bitter hops pinching off all but the last of the leftover sweetness from the malt and other flavors. One of my favorite things about this brewery is that they aren't afraid to experiment; this brew is reminiscent of (and on par with) experimental efforts like DFH 61 or Noble Rot. Deliciously different, refreshing and drinkable as hell.
