This limited stout has been aged for over one year in rye whiskey barrels. We then blended it with our 'All Out Stout' to round out the depth of flavour.

Bridge Brewing 'Barrel Aged Stout' @ 6.8% , served from a waxed 650 ml bottle purchased for $8.80
A-pour is black from the bottle to glass with a medium size tan head leaving a streaky lace along the snifter
S-hints of bourbon barrel age , rye
T-bit boozey , sweet , rye/smokey swallow near the end of the bottle
MF-decent carbonation , full bodied , dry dry mouthfeel , take another sip
Ov-decent first attempt at a bourbon barrel aged beer

Bottle really gushed, presumably the bugs went to work on the fresh blend.
Pours a rediculously huge head, lots of bubbles, shows some lace.
Aroma is floral and boozy, with some rye bread.
Some nice oak and Brett (brux?) in the flavour, pumpernickel rye bread, roasted nuts, molasses and vanilla.
This really attenuated out and it's Fairly dry.
