Hazy orange-tan color. Moderate amount of fine bubbles rising. No real head - it poured as a thin skiff and quickly disappeared. No lacing.
Light barnyard scent mixed with a light malt bready smell. Swirling the glass kicked up a little more barnyard.
Moderate bitters with a bit of a grassy flavor. Slightly sweet. There is a small amount of barnyard, but it is very subdued. The aftertaste is an odd bitter-sweet.
Substantial tingling on the tongue and inside of the lips. Foams up to large bubbles.
This is suffering from the barnyard smell, but not as overwhelming as many other local products. Unfortunately I have become very tired of this smell, so my review numbers are declining over time for anything so affected. The brewer is calling this a version 2.0 of a retired product. I don't know what was changed, so it is up to the BA admins to collapse this into the original or keep it as a new listing.
