I opened the bottle and it came gushing out. After I cleaned that up I poured some in a glass and my glass filled up with foam. Not impressed.
The taste is a middlin' malt forward IPA. The kind I generally don't like.

Handsome coppery orange color with plenty of foam in the Bons Voeux chalice. There's a beery aroma with a wee hint of grain. Sprightly on the tongue. Some maltiness, a touch of sweetness, but a dry astringent finish.
Woody and herbal. Dark and barky but just moderately bitter. This does not leave a pleasant taste in the mouth, just a dishwatery bitter note. I guess there's no category for "Canadian IPA" but that's where I would classify this. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.
