All malt in this puppy, strong malt aroma and taste. Slightly musty, sour nature to this, some yeast presence. Just below average for the style. Representative of the northern French palate for the style.

A - poured from 25cl bottle into tulip. Nice white head with small bubbles, average retention. A touch of lacing. Apple juice color liquid, totally clear. So clear that without the head, you'd never guess that it's beer.
S - not much aroma. some smell of pilsner malt, with a slight hint of apples or wood.
T - It is sweet like sweet corn, maybe could be described as butterscotch. slightly bitter finish. It's got an unpleasant amount of dimethyl sulfide for me (corn flavor), although maybe okay for the style.
M - very viscous and coating for a euro lager. It's a thick, syrupy sweetness. Carbonation is a bit light.
D - It comes in 6 packs, alas.
Note: I've got the Reflets de France "Biere Blonde Pur Malt d'Alsace". It's 6.8% ABV. This is the same grocery store beer as in some other reviews, but perhaps different than the beer in the picture.

Pours a golden color with white creamy foam. Nose has a very pronounced butterscotch character which is quite satisfying. At first the beer is light on the palate and then develop into a little sweeter butterscotch and malt complexity. There is also a steely minerality to this beer that cuts nicely through the buttery aromas and flavors. It is actually a lot lighter and crisper due to this minerality than it would otherwise be. Hops are subtle and work their magic as such.

A beer that is called Reflets de France, Biere Blonde d'Alsace. It is the same name as another beer from Brasserie Duyck, but the label really says Brasserie Meteor.
The beer pours a clear, amber beer with a thin head.
The smell is rising up immediatelly when I open the bottle. A strong roasted, like a roasted sandwich smell. A bread crust smell, malt and some cardboard.
Taste is not too bad, considering the typical smell. A clean, almost bottom fermented smell. There is a medium maltiness that has this toasted bread taste. Body is thin and the 6,8% alcohol in here takes the beer with that out of balance.

The beer is a nice looking beer, but nothing out of the ordinary. Crystal clear, with a strong golden body.
There's nothing extraordinary here, but light grainy huskiness, which is shared with the taste.
This is a relatively light bodied brew, with a bit higher ABV than most lagers. This doesn't have anything that spells unique, but makes for a formidable session beer.
NOTE: THIS SEEMS TO BE ONLY AVAILABLE AT "CORA" SUPERMARKETS IN FRANCE.
