16 oz can, picked up a 4 pack at the brewpub
Can is supposed to be "nitro" but there is no widget. doesn't pour with the typical "cascade" you see with one of those cans. very dark brown but not quite black, with thick creamy off-white colored head. pleasant aroma of vanilla and chocolate, but fairly mild. similar with the taste - its fairly mild - roast flavors are fairly restrained, and slightly sweet. smooth feel, medium bodied.

A - Dark brown pour with a very creamy and frothy, bubbly head resting on top. The foam sticks on the glass like glue.
S - Cocoa with some nice intensity that really hits the nose along with some vanilla and cream. Light delicate char rounds things out for a nice aromatic presentation.
T - Cocoa and vanilla with a lingering sweet finish of light chocolate.
M - Thick in the middle but thin around the edges. Chocolate char lingers on the palate which makes for a nice finish.
O - A solid Porter, but more roasty chocolate on the finish would elevate this to the next level.
