Enjoyed this one on tap at the brewery.
A - Black pour with caramel colored lacing.
S - Chocolate roast with light roasted char.
T - Chocolate roast, light chocolate char, and a small trace of cherry buried inside a delicate smoke finish.
M - Big dry body with an almost chalky residue left on the tongue.
O - Nicely done and the barrel rounded this beer out nicely.

on draft at the brewpub - 10 oz served in tulip style glass
black in color, thin tan colored head. fairly mild aroma for this type of beer - mild roast, dark cocoa, and just a touch of vanilla and caramel. not boozy at all. similar flavors, well balanced, not too sweet. don't get much of the barrel though. medium to full bodied.
