A - Dark brown pour with thick caramel colored lacing that's sticky and dense.
S - Orange peel and a little ginger dominates the nose followed by all spice and very minimal chocolate roast.
T - Orange dominates the palate, period. After the initial shot of orange it's followed with some ginger and all spice - that's it. Any chocolate from the actual base beer pokes through a little after the sip.
M - Big medium body with a silky texture.
O - The spices are way too overpowering, instead of complimenting they dominate this stout.

Poured from a 1oz can into pint glass in Dec 2020. There was a 12/06/2020 canned-on date on the can.
Appearance: Very dark black with a thin tan head. Head was about 2 fingers high, but did not last long. It left only a little lacing on the glass similar to most other imperial stouts, and ended with a very thin tan head still on the beer.
Smell: As the name states, there is an interesting aroma with spices (ginger and cinnamon) and a mix of orange, malt, and coffee in that order. There is also some sweet aroma like black licorice, but overall the spices and orange dominate the others.
Taste: There is a unique mix of flavors with the spices. The label lists orange peel, which is also prominent. There is also some flavors including coffee, and sweetness like caramel. There is a strong alcohol presence, which matches the 9.3% on the label. It is an interesting mix to drink for something different, especially including organ with a stout. Although this is not a style that I would drink often, I would drink this again especially if on tap.
Mouth-feel: Thick like liquid licorice, but with a smooth body. Not overly smooth like a Milk Stout.
This is a unique Imperial Stout, and it has a variety of flavors that you do not find in other stouts. The orange is maybe too pronounced for my tastes. I definitely prefer Saucony Creek's Russian Imperial Stout or their Chocolate Oatmeal Stout over this Spiced Imperial Stout, but I would drink this again as a unique holiday style.
