A - Dark brown pour with a one fingered layer of dense, creamy foam from the nitro, carbonation is nill.
S - Chocolate roast, some chocolate char, vanilla, toasted cocoa.
T - Toasted chocolate up front that gains momentum through the sip and ends more with chocolate roast. Some vanilla surfaces but is more prevalent on the nose rather than the palate. There is some lingering vanilla at the end but the chocolate malt takes center stage.
M - Big medium body with thinness around the edges. Very dry on the back of the tongue while the rest of the mouth is wet.
O - This is a good Porter. The nice thing about the nitro aspect is it allows for more flavor to come through as opposed to carbonation.
