Served on-tap at Kutztown FriendFest 2013.
A: Pale, clear golden/yellow in color. No head nor lacing. Appears flat.
S: Light English malts, aroma suggests something in the way of Fuggle hops although that may not have been what was used.
T: A faint maltiness starts off with a certain crisp and dryness mid-palate. Finish is quite displeasing, something I cannot put my finger on. A stale hop flavor, or old malts? It's strange.
M: Extremely watery. Carbonation is rather low, too. Dry on the palate.
It sounds like this may be their first batch they're distributing commercially. Not something you'd expect for a first beer out of a new brewery, and honestly it needs some major refinement. I'll keep an eye out for these guys down the road.
