330ml bottle bought from Ales By Mail...
Poured a deep golden copper colour... White head poured quite foamy then faded fairly quickly to thin layer... No real lacing... Very sparse carbonation...
Aroma - Light biscuity malts, some saltiness, creamy, honey sweetness, light juicy fruits (oranges and lemons), faint sulphur notes, some rice hints, metallic notes, faint floral hops...
Taste - Sweet biscuity malts, tangy / juicy fruits (definite oranges, grapefruits, melons ?), slight pepperiness, some metallic traces, light floral honey sweetness, salty notes, light hop bitterness...
Feel - Quite smooth initially but with a little sharpness underneath. Light bodied. Pretty refreshing and drinkable...
Overall - An OK beer which has maybe a hint of home brew about it... nothing ground breaking but quite drinkable although it gets a little sickly towards the end.... worth a try...
