Beer is a murky looking orangey-caramel. Small white head that goes quickly.
The nose is super juicy and fruity. Waves of tropical and citrus fruit; mango is the strongest, but also pineapple and orange.
Taste is a bit odd. The juicy flavours are still there, and are very nice, but there is also a significant herbal, weedy flavour that clashes somewhat and is not totally pleasant - this coming from somebody who likes weedy flavours in IPAs. Actually, this is probably the best example I have come across as citra proving a 'cat pee' flavour/aroma. Aftertaste not great.
Medium bodied, strongly carbonated.
Overall, a pretty odd beer. The smell is terrific, and the flavours that are consistent with that aroma are also really nice. But the herbal flavours don't work and are pretty glaring.
