Pours a dark brown color. 2/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong/fresh black pepper, hops, sweet malt, and a hint of citrus. Fits the style of an American Amber / Red Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of strong pepper, sweet malt, hops, hint of roasted malt, yeast, floral hops, and slight citrus. Overall, good appearance and feel. The strongest and best tasting black pepper beer I've ever had. It's been a week and I can still distinctly taste this amazing beer.

(Served in a 16 oz. tulip)
A- This beer pours a deep dark brown almost walnut with a red hue and a thin light tan head that sticks to the glass with each sip.
S- The white pepper aroma is almost vinous with some full agave character that is almost mezcal like with some gentle deep toasted malt notes in the finish.
T- The spicy white pepper flavor leads to a full agave flavor that has a touch of sweetness but not cloying at all. The flavors together almost have a licorice character. The toasted malt comes through a bit in the finish but remains soft. The bitterness of the white pepper really hits hard in the finish and lingers for a bit.
M- The medium mouthfeel adds some nice roundness with a soft fizz and no alcohol heat noticed.
O- This beer really has a big agave and white pepper character. I like mezcales so that flavor was very nice but the big white pepper flavor was to much. If you like degestifs (fenret, campari, or other amaris) then I think you would love this beer. I don't care for those so that is the only reason I lowered the drinkable, personal taste.
