Cask version of this locally produced ale, offered at the Kings Head in Rudgwick.
A: brown and cloudy in appearance--love it! No fizziness or head whatsoever.
S: fairly typical of local Sussex Bitters--slight bit of grains, but lots of sharp, earthy/mildly pungent . . . bitterness in the scent.
T: a nice mix of sweet/bitter/hoppy flavours. Nothing dominates, but the bitterness is certainly present.
M: nice and smooth, no carbonation.
O: great beer, I'd definitely have this again!
