64oz growler from the brewery. Pours a dark dark brownish black color with a 1/4inch of medium brown head. Minimal lacing. The aroma is of chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, caramel, and earth. The taste is roasted malts, caramel, toasted marshmallows, dark chocolate, and hints of smoke. Earthy. Slightly sour with some warming alcohol. Light mouthfeel for the style. Overall, a pretty drinkable Russian Imperial Stout. Worth trying.

A really well balanced stout with a great stiff brown head, excellent chocolate and roasted tones to the aroma and a very good mouth-feel. Not too clingy or overwhelmingly sweet or boozy. Great smooth carbonation. Overall one of my favorite stouts CT has to offer.
