Had on tap at the brewery and got a growler. Pours very brown, like chocolate, but not quite into black. Decent head that fades away. Pretty light aroma on this, some sweet malts and a hint of coffee. Really nice flavor, the sweetness hits the tongue pretty sharp but then it fades to more balanced bitter and roasted malt. Some earthy hops in there. Easy to drink but also good for savoring. Nice brown ale, here.
