Had at the brewery last night in a snifter glass. Goldenrod color, hazy, small one finger head dies fast but can be easily roused again.
Smell is OK, it's hoppy but also very sweet and pungent. Sweetness on the flavor first, some caramel malts, grapefruit hoppiness, bit of herbal leaf on the back end and very bitter. Some lemon like tartness.
Good IPA, little bit thin in the body and not as juicy as a true New England IPA. Not sure if I like the Comet hops here. Could have done without them.
