It claims to be a super juicy but not sure they really know what a juicy IPA taste like. A very mild IPA. Better than their base IPA but just nothing memorable.

A light-ish juicy NEIPA, with more bitterness than many.
The appearance is moderately hazy, similar to many NEIPA’s.
Smell promises extreme juiciness and citrus.
The taste doesn’t deliver as much of a dose of juiciness as you’d expect from the smell. It’s there, but tempered by an almost equal dose of classic IPA bitterness. The bitterness is not cloying or long-lasting and faded fairly quickly.
If you’re looking for an ultra-juicy NEIPA along the lines of Widowmaker Blue Comet, this isn’t it. But it you want a fairly even balance of some juiciness and citrus combined with equal amounts of classic IPA bitterness, then this should satisfy.

Tall can, without any canning date info.
Nice looking hazed up NEIPA kinda pour, leaves some tiny bubble lacing rising the glass.
Fruity and sweat nose, with some candied apricot coming thru.
Enjoyable ale, soft and smooth in the mouth, with notes of melon, pretty strong limes and a hint or resiny hops in the long finish. Well worth a try.

This offering seems to cause a debate between- is it an NEIPA or a good beer? The thing is both sides have a point. If you are trying NEIPAs and your friend is suffering from the bitterness, or aftertaste, just throw one of these their way. I really enjoy this to relax or eat with.

Look: Nice golden color, good foam pouring into a glass. Nothing out of the ordinary but good for a double IPA.
Smell: The hops are first and foremost, with a really solid blend of hops upfront. I could honestly smell this instead of drinking and still be satisfied.
Taste: Really full, good hops flavor with a smooth aftertaste. The ABV is relatively high, so usually I'm ok with one pint for sipping across the night but honestly its really enjoyable in that sense. The hops are more nuanced so the taste isn't something to chug but rather appreciate.
Feel: Carbonation isn't enough to make an impact, but it's overall smooth and well balanced mouthfeel. A pleasure to drink.
Overall: Wonderful double IPA from Thimble Island, little pricey but not something I'd drink a ton of at once anyway. Definitely recommended for IPA fans if you get a chance to try it.
