Bon Voyage - Rosé Brut

Poured from a pint can into a chalice style glass. Thin head dissipates almost immediately; the rose colored body makes it look more like pink champagne. A faint aroma of strawberries on the nose. The first sip is fruity with a bit of hops bite. Tastes a little better than I expected, but I won't repeat.

 

A: hazy; coral colored; 1 finger very pale pink head that receded to a thin collar; no lacing;

S: not especially aromatic; what's there is sort of a funky fruit punch;

T: I can get the rose character along with some fruit punch; finish is tannic and bitter with very little flavor; doesn't make you want to come back for more;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: the flavor just didn't work for me;
