Excellent head production, but mediocre retention. Body is a vibrant lemon yellow color, lively with a touch of haze.
Nose is pleasant: musty, herbal, and slightly fruity (citrus). It's not particularly potent, but it smells very nice, like a dry hopped Saison.
Nose translates well to the palate, but with an added punch of sourness (low to moderate) to go with the musty graininess. Kiwi is very nice, but it's not over the top; the sourness is primarily citric (vice vinegar-like), which tends to blend with the kiwi. Lovely pale malt base, and a good use of hops to balance out the beer. Many fruited kettle sours overdo the sweetness, making them more like wine coolers than beers; this is still very much a beer, and a joy to drink on a hot afternoon.
