Had the Avram American Ale and the SRB Swill. If you like hopper brews, go with the Swill. Nice aroma and finish. Avram also a winner, a bit more balanced flavor and amber color. Atmosphere very casual and comfortable. Watch your days of the week...closed on Sunday and Monday. Definitely worth a revisit.

Overall a good experience. Anyone that watches "Restaurant Impossible" can tell they've adopted that format to build their own little microbrew restaurant.

The beer was good, the food was very good, the service was very friendly. Nice atmosphere as well. Good music selection.

If I lived in Minot I'd be there very frequently. It's worth a visit.

Souris River is a new place in town and the only place brewing their own beer. The fact that they are the only brewpub is helping them out. The drinking public is so starved for craft beer in the area they are accepting the beers produced by Souris as good. Inexperience and poor brewing practices in my opinion are at the root of the off flavors and poor hop character found in Souris River's beers.

Really glad to see Minot have a craft beer establishment. The rotating beers have all been really good; wish there were more. The food selection is always interesting and I'm eager to see what ideas they come up with. This is my favorite spot in Minot and the beer keeps bringing me back.

Great service, very friendly. Beer was good, but very limited selection on tap. Only 3 beers were available. They said they had six the night before but they had a band and got wiped out. The bottle selection is better then most local places though. Had the burger sliders which were pretty tasty but $14 for 3 sliders seems a bit much. I'll go back for the beer, but hopefully they expand the menu and get some more beers on tap.

Great place to get a great beer. Souris River Brewing (SRB) is only a couple months old and I've been very impressed with their beers. Their selection is usually limited to three or four beers, but the number of selections is expanding and they do a good job of rotating in new and interesting beers. Everyone that works there is very friendly and seem very happy to be working there. The place can get a bit hectic during peak hours and service can be a little slow, but I'd rather be waiting among the polite beer drinkers at SRB than the shoving, rude masses at other bars. Although I had higher hopes for the food, I find myself wishing I liked the food more than I do. I seem to be in the significant minority in this, however, as pretty much everyone I've talked to loves the food.
