Copenhagen 5/3 2018. 50 cl bottle from Den Gamle Købmand, Skt. Annæ Plads, Kbh. K. A snake maw combined with some Anarchist paraphernalia on the label.
Pours hazy amber with a dense white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is not very strong but pretty nice. Lemonade, exotic fruit with citric notes of grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation with slightly thick texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by somewhat stronger citric sour bitterness. Still very civilized. Aftertaste is citric bitter. Finish is semi dry.
Fine if not extraordinary IPA which looks a little bit better than it tastes. But it looks pretty good.

Hammering citrus hops - stops just short of harsh. But then it goes all rotten tangerine as it warms - cloying and queasy. Doesn’t show the skill of Citra Star. 3.5
