Poured from a 33cL can into a glass. Can says "Brewed and canned by Lao Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd, Vientiane, Lao PDR Under Supervision of Cambodia Brewery Ltd."
2.5/2/2.5/2.75/2.25
Clear gold with light head and effervescence. It smells cheap lagery sweet and kind of metallic. SEA lagers often taste so much (relatively) better than they smell. So too here. The flavor is minimal, pretty clean, with only a touch of harsh graininess right on the endtaste. In general though, I don't really feel like this beer needs to exist. There are better/cheaper options already out there, and it's certainly not bringing anything to the table. Phase this one out.

Can from a store in Battambang.
A - Poured with a two finger white head that faded fast to a film. Golden yellow with good carbonation. Bright. Tiny spot of lace and a small film of retention.
S - Honey, sweet grain, light crackery malt. No note of offensive adjuncty elements.
T - Honey, sweet grain, a tiny hop note. Sweet grain dominates.
M - Good carbonation, light-ish body, and a sweet finish.
O/D - Not too bad. Largely forgettable, but I finished it with no problem and at no point would I thought have not finishing it. A decent beer for the style with enough flavour that avoids being terrible like so many others in the region. Not bad.
