Tan head. Black color.

Vanilla and coffee. Dark fruits. Light roast. Some sweetness. Chocolate and cocoa. Medium bodied. Ends a little dry and roasted. Really solid.

Good-looking coffee stout with a light-color foamy head.

Smell is full of coffee and vanilla. It has a sweet and somewhat nutty smell. The vanilla comes off as just a little bit artificial, but overall, it works pretty well.

The flavor is very similar. Vanilla is strong. It's sweet and nutty. Coffee comes in second. Nice malty backbone. Hops are present but never intrusive.

It has a rich, smooth feel with a full body.

I don't know that I would trade for this beer, but for a 12oz single sitting on the shelf at Total Wine, you really can't go wrong with this one.
