Formerly called "Medical Grade Haze"
Why the name change?
We all know Medical Grade Haze IPA brings forth all the best flavors from a dank smoke sesh without containing any actual marijuana. HOWEVER, the Feds wanted us to be more clear on the label. They felt the public does not know there are no medicinal or marijuana ingredients in this amazing hazy brew! (But we DO believe any great beer makes people feel good!)
So… introducing Recreational Grade Haze! New name, same haze.
Recreational Grade Haze keeps the bitterness low and the juice factor high, with the exact same heady tropical flavors from Medical Grade Haze—because it’s the same beer!
Packed to the brim with the dankest CRYO hop varieties: Sabro, Talus, Mosaic and Simcoe, this hazy delight is just what the doctor BREWERY ordered!

Poured into a glass from a can. A thick yellow hazy color with a pig foamy head a strong citrus aroma. Very hoppy flavor with an orange/pineapple taste

Very hazy pale amber pour, with moderate head. Nose is faint, with just some grassy hops, very light. Taste is better, with a little up front bitterness, not too bitter, and a lot of grassy, vegetal hop flavor, though these aren't hops that taste particularly good to me. In fact, it's more the worst thing I think about some hazies: a load of hops that aren't very good to drink.

Pours a very cloudy opaque golden color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is very good as is lacing. Nice citrus tropical and citrus aroma and taste. Some orange, melon and maybe pineapple. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very good.

Dank in the sense it tastes like a screwdriver...boozy almost vodka-like fusel notes mixed with bright flavours of fresh orange juice. Booze-soaked pineapple chunks. Maybe vague mango. No blueberry from the Mosaic, unfortunately.
Not what I want in an IPA. Hop profile isn't bad, but alcoholic orange juice isn't a great goal for an IPA. One of the boozier IPAs I've tried recently.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a super hazy orange-amber color with a with a small head of fizzy white foam. The head fades fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a sweet tropical fruit smell of tangerine, mango, pineapple, and papaya. Along with these smells comes notes of a yeasty and bready smell as well as a decent showing of a grapefruit and herbal hop smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet tangerine, pineapple, and papaya flavor mixed with bready malt, yeast, and some grapefruit and herbal hop. The sweet tropical fruit tastes remain very strong throughout the taste, being a base flavor for the brew. As the taste moves forward the grapefruit and herbal hops get slightly stronger and are joined by a little bit of pine and some apple and peach. With some hay and grass coming in at the end, one is left with a sweet, moderately hoppy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thicker and more chewy with a carbonation level that is slightly lower. Overall, for the style and the tastes, the feel is good, making for a more thick and slower sipper.
Overall – A rather decent, sweeter hazy IPA. A little heavier then the average on the palate, but overall very flavorful.

Very hazy pineapple color with a white head, the nose is heavy on the mango, pineapple, and ripe orange aromas.
The taste is led by the mango and pineapple, and there’s a nice ripe orange flavor as well. The mouthfeel is medium and on the softer side, per the style. This is a pleasure to drink.

The nose is phenomenal. Straight up dank weed on the crack of the can.

Pours a hazy straw to honey color
A nice head with good lacing leaving a little foam on top
Not too much on the nose
First taste is a sweet/malty citrusy bouquet
Hops not as strong as other IPAs which would be a NEIPA attribute
Overall very nice!

This is my favorite Texas brewed NEIPA. I LOVE the sweetness on the finish. So many of this style leave a dry/bitter mouthfeel. Not this beer. Juicy AF and keeps delivering all the way through.
This beer is a treasure. Enjoy.
