This was found in my cousins fridge, so decided to try a new beer. Yep, it’s a low-calorie IPA. Been there done that. Pre-copy and paste from others I’ve had. Tastes a little fake, not that heavy, can have more than one, but probably don’t want to. It is what it is. It’s OK.

Best of the “healthy” IPAs I have tried. Prefer it to Founders and Dogfish

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a tiny head of white foam. The head fades very fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of an herbal and pine hop smell mixed with some aromas of some bread and a bit of caramel. Along with these smells comes a touch of grapefruit.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp cracker malt flavor mixed with a little bit of an herbal hop taste. As the taste advances some flavors of pine and grapefruit enter the taste profile. All the while a little bit of sweetness joins the tongue with some pear coming to the tongue. At the end the herbal hop amps up a bit, and with the rest of the tastes, leaves one with a rather light, but nicely hoped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the light tastes and the somewhat more dank hop the feel is great and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – A rather nice brew at only 95 calories with a whole lot of flavor and a great drinkability. Well done!!
