Lots of foam on my sloppy pour. Simcoe cryo hops. Underwhelming nose. Taste is faint pine with caramelized banana. The middle school girlfriend of IPAs…..different, solid, but not psychologically impactful. Like your mom.

Kind of straw to yellow with a pretty good head.
Flavorful with fruity, tropical flavors and a pretty good hops bite that starts off mildly and grows on you as you drink it.
Overall the brewery has always done me right and this one is no exception.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time to leave a moderate level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is very strong of a tropical fruit aroma with tons of pineapple, mango, and tangerine. Along with these smells comes notes of melon and lime as well as a decent showing of a grapefruit and earthy hop. With a touch of mustiness as well as a bit of peach and apple, a very sweet and inviting aroma is produced overall.
Taste – The taste of the beer starts out with a nice tropical fruit (tangerine, mango, papaya, pineapple) and light bready like flavor mixed with some grapefruit and light earthy hop. As the taste advances the hop gets stronger all while the pineapple and mango fade a bit. At the same time other flavors of a light grapeiness as well as a bit of apple and an increase in the tangerine and some orange flavors, come onto the scene, and with a little bit of herb, one is left with a nice, still citrusy, and decently hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather low. Overall, rather nice for the style.
Overall – A rather tasty brew overall. I would certainly get this on more routine occasion if offered.
