A 320ml bottle with a BB of Dec 2015. ABV is stated as 4.2%. Picked up recently from Trembling Madness in York. Another new local brewery, though it turns out these guys have relocated from London. Described as a golden ale with subtle floral aromas.
A: Poured into a cervoise. Bottle conditioned. A hazy golden hue with fine sediment and low carbonation. Yields a decent head of white foam that lasts for a moment or two before disappearing.
S: Aroma of light, grainy malt with hints of fruity ale yeast, faint grass/hay, vague stewed leaves and a twinge of sulphur. Unexciting.
T: Tastes of light malt with a subdued character and a mild finish. Notes of grain, fruity ale yeast, grass/hay, stewed leaves and faint earthiness. Well-attenuated, followed by a delicate, leafy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and dry, with very soft carbonation and decent body. Needs to be a tad livelier. Mildly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of ale yeast esters, stewed leaves and light malt.
O: Meh - rather dull. Looks OKish (if a bit flat), while the aroma and flavour are a bland mix of ale yeast, faint leafy hops and grain. So-so body; insufficiently carbonated. I don't like to knock a small brewery but this isn't particularly inspired. No need to hunt it down.

330ml bottle bought from Ales By Mail
Poured a light copper orange colour... White head poured quite foamy then faded fairly quickly to thin layer... Some light sticky lacing... Very sparse carbonation...
Aroma - Nice strong fruitiness (oranges, lemons, pears), nice biscuity malts, honey sweetness, floral, grassy / hay hints, some sea saltiness, vanilla, creaminess, sugary, light spicy hops...
Taste Very light biscuity malts, watery fruitiness (oranges, apples, some grapefruits), some dustiness, some faint rice notes, light honey sweetness, faint peppery hops, some creaminess.... all a bit disappointing after the aromas...
Feel - Pretty smooth and creamy. Light / medium bodied. Pretty drinkable and sessionable at 4.3%...
Overall - An OK beer... nothing too exciting but quite drinkable.... worth a try..
