Citrus from American hops dominate this otherwise well-balanced pale ale. Inspired by West-Coast home brew from the Maltose Home Brewing Society and demanded by by local beer enthusiast and purveyor of fine brews, Chad Mathis.

Pours a clear, gold color. 3/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong hops, strong pine, slight earthy/wet hops, sweet malt, hint of floral, and slight alcohol. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a strong bitterness. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of grass, slight earthy malt, hint of floral, slight pine, hops, and slight alcohol. Overall, really good and complex aroma, but body is a little weaker, good blend though.
