Our malty English Barleywine spent its winter hibernating in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. The resulting beer's natural notes of caramel, toffee, and stone fruit combine with the barrel's contributions of vanilla, oak, and bourbon.

Short review here, but I thought I'd share a bit on this beer. I bought a 32 oz. growler over Fathers Day weekend. Drank the entire thing on Fathers Day, and it was outstanding. It's a highly drinkable English Barleywine, despite the high ABV.
The boozy bourbon flavor comes through, but as I said, it's very drinkable. The malty sweetness shines in this one. I'd say it's one of the better Barleywines I've had. Highly recommend.
