My neighbor got me a can of this. It poured a deep rich mahogany with no head and no lace. The scent had hints of peat and burnt Wood chips. The taste was earthy and had lots of scotch zeal. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it's different and worth a try.

L- Pour's a clear, dark brown, with slight red hue. Has a one finger, off-white head that dissipates very quickly. No carbonation.
S- it has a very nice caramel malt smell up front. Smokiness comes in right after the malt. There is some Oak Barrel presents and wine presents. A unique smell.
T- a very big Peat and smokiness taste. The wine barrels are very present at the end of the taste. Definitely a big red wine presence as well. A very sweet finish. This would be great with a cigar.
F- medium body.
O- the Peat smokiness appeals to a smaller group of people. I think I need a little bit more time with this.

Pours a deep brown, clear with Ruby highlights when held to light. A thin, off white head persists around the edge. Smells intensely peated, and chlorophenolic, with a hint of caramel sweetness. Taste is dominated by peaty smokiness, and has a sweet and earthy aftertaste. Feels smooth, medium bodied, medium carbonation, and leaves a slick residue and hides the alcohol fairly well. Overall, I would love this beer if it weren't for the singular off putting aroma, and I wish there were more notes to compare my results. Cheers!

Very peaty and smokey. The ale is present and smooth, definitely has character unlike any barrel aged beer I've had yet. Triptych keeps killing it for me.
