My kind neighbor got me a can of this...had it in basement for a spell....it poured an opaque dark with ecru head that left a spotty lace. The scent had hints of dark chocolate touch of spice. The taste was excellent. Mostly chocolate with hints of pepper and vanilla. The mouthfeel was creamy awesome. Overall it's an amazing beer.

Poured from the can into a tulip glass on Christmas 2016. Brother-in-law thought it was muddled, weird aftertaste. I liked it as a Christmas stout.

On tap at Scotty's Brewhouse. A stout with peppers, vanilla, and cinnamon.
A: Pours a near opaque black, with a bit of ruby/brown around the edges. A two finger tan head forms that recedes after a minute, with some lace left behind.
S: Light roast up front with a mix of spices. It is hard to ID everything, it is all really muddled. Some heat from the peppers, and that is about all I get.
T: Light roast again, cinnamon is a little more prevalent. Though that unidentifiable muddled mess is still here. Peppery heat, residual sugars, overly sweet, spice rack.
M/O: A medium to full body that is muddled with no definition. Slick and oily. Not something I really want to come back to.
The additives make everything hard to ID, and I am not really enjoying what I do pick out. Can't help but keep thinking less is more, and this would be worlds better without the additives.
