Brewed for a beer brunch in cooperation with our friends at Kemp's in Lexington, we have fond memories of fruity breakfast cereal at brunch so we decided to combine our love of cereal and hoppy, hazy IPAs. The result is this fluffy fruit bomb.

16oz can, dated 1.26.18, poured into a Triptych Shaker Pint.

The beer pours a hazy and cloudy copper color, amber hues with a foamy white head, about a finger and a half with moderate retention and nice lacing. The aroma is pleasant, sweet grains, light yeast, mild tropical fruits with some citrus and a bit of saccharine sweetness and wildflower. The flavors are nice, lots of tropical fruits, citrus juice, sweet grain and yeast with a bit of floral and earthy character. The mouthfeel is good, coating medium body, light prickly carbonation and a nice liveliness with a dry bite at the finish.

Verdict: A nice IPA from Triptych. Pretty simple and straightforward but very approachable and refreshing with a nice kick. Not the most exciting or compelling beer, but super easy going for an 8% DIPA.

Pours a hazy, copper Orange with a two-finger, creamy white head. It's too hazy to tell how much carbonation.
A wonderful smell of candy citrus hops and I do smell the publicized fruity cereal.
An interesting taste with the candied hops that transitions to a more bitter Citrus and bready fruit. A slight dankness of garlic and onion also present. Very pleasant and unique.
Smooth medium to thick mouthfeel.
Triptych hits another home run!
