16oz draft pour. dark amber / light brown. not much head. smell is pretty muted. maybe too cold. taste is excellent. malty and some chocolate and toffee. really nice. mouthfeel is full and after being somewhat lacking in smell and look this beer has redeemed itself. a very enjoyable american take on an excellent german style.
