Good, but at 9% alcohol I'd only want a small glass of this. In the end, as the beer warms, the alcohol increasingly swallows up the other flavors - and you shouldn't quickly consume a 9% ABV beverage.

On tap, arrives with a cap of white foam that lasts slightly longer than average, fading to a thin ring around the periemter of the glass. Lacing is excellent, with thick webbing and patterns clinging to all sides of the glass. Body is a murky pale yellow color, with light bringing out slightly brighter pale yellow hues (SRM 2-4). Opaque due to yeast/malt/hops.

Aroma of surprisingly more-mild-than-expected sweet citrus (orange, grapefruit) with a background of milky pale malt sweetness.

Flavor of dense/intense sweet citrus with a milky sort of creamy sweetness, fairly detectable ethanol, surprisingly low bitterness and hop spice/burn. Front: a sort of heavy-dank hop profile, slightly savory at times, with dense/intense sweet citrus (orange, slight grapefruit), a touch of pine, obvious alcohol spice/burn, and mild hop spice/burn. Mid: fairly dense/intense sweet citrus (orange, slight grapefruit) with a milky sort of creamy sweetness, fairly detectable and hot alcohol, mild hop bitterness and spice/burn. Back: strong sweet citrus, then alcohol flavor/burn mixed with hop spice/burn, residual pale malt sweetness largely obscured by the alcohol, and light hop bitterness. After: lingering and fairly obvious alcohol, moderate hop bitterness and spice/burn, light sweetness from pale malt mixed with a creamy citrus (sweet orange, light grapefruit) profile.

Beer is heavy-bodied, with carbonation of moderate intensity (2.3-2.4 vol CO2), resulting in a lightly, but mostly, foamy mouthfeel with small bubbles that creates a very soft, pillowy, creamy effect. Alcohol clearly felt in nostrils and throat/tongue as mild burning heat. Closes very dry, with fairly heavy stickiness on the lips/palate. Great creamy mouthfeel, but points docked for the very obvious alcohol.
