I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank bitter citrus and hints of pine. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle ripe fruit base with spruce tip highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Glass at the brewery, review from notes taken in real time.
Excellent white foam/retention/lacing. Almost totally opaque golden yellow, though, unlike any West Coast DIPA I've seen, and much more like a hazy IPA, which is why it's listed here.
Aroma of dank, dense hoppiness with accents of citrus rind and overripe melon with some overripe rotten fruit as well. The overripe rotten fruit seems to be a thing in some Triptych heavily-hopped beers.
Flavor of alcohol, fairly dank hoppiness that goes into rotting fruit, savory pizza and cured meat (particularly pepperoni)-like territory, all coupled with a moderate amount of residual sweetness. Very odd flavor profile and not good at all.
Beer is heavy in body, with carbonation of medium intensity. Alcohol felt fairly easily in nostrils as heat and palate/throat as burning, unfortunately. Closes dry, fairly heavy stickiness on lips/palate.
