I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had vanilla, roast with a touch of anise and molasses. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with vanilla, roast, and molasses presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
