On tap at the brewery.
A: Pours a dark, clear red color. A bubbly, one finger white head forms. That recedes in a second, and leaves light patchy lace.
S: Citrus and pine up front. A fairly juicy aroma as well. A good malty balance. Toasted and caramel malts.
T: Similar to the nose. A good balance between malt and hops. At first citrus, pine, and grassy flavors. Then toasted malt and caramel sweetness for balance.
M/D: A lighter body and moderate carbonation. Too thin for my liking. Easy to drink. If there was one from Triptych I would come back to, it would be this one.
There is enough aromatics and flavor here to make this a more than a one and done. Probably the best that I had while I visited the brewery.
