The beer is dark, roasts, rich, smooth and a little sweet. Awesome beer!

Poured from a bomber bottle sealed in wax, and labeled as a Belgian Stout.
L - Darkest brown color and totally opaque, but clear and mahogany toned around the edges when held up to the light. Light tan head pops and disappears immediately after the pour.
S - Low earthy and aged malt notes on the nose, comes across as Soy Sauce. I don't get either Belgian or stout or distinctive barrel characteristics out of the nose.
T - Lots of malt and oak flavor, but not the roasted/burnt flavors expected for a stout, or the fruity/yeasty/spicy notes of a Belgian beer.
F - Medium to heavy body; low to very low carbonation. Moderate alcohol presence. moderate hops bitterness holds off the sweetness of the malt.
O - This is a nice, oaky/malty beer. Not a great example of the styles or a hybrid of the syles shown on the label,
