Had a pint on draft at Big Dog's.
Opaque black with a 1/2" creamy, lush khaki/espresso colored head. Left thick lacing and had great retention.
Very faint smell, picked up a little roasted malt and cocoa.
Lots of nice cocoa on the palate, slightly sweet. Lightly bitter coffee and dark chocolate finish with a little roastiness.
Medium bodied, thick and creamy.
Smooth and easy drinking.
A solid stout, should have been an A- if not for the weak smell.

The beer was poured on-tap at the Ale House into a pint glass. The beer is an opaque black, with a chocolate colored, light, filmy head. The smells are mixes of coffee. The tastes are a blend of dark chocolate and coffee, with a creamy base. The smooth finish is highlighted by a chocolate aftertaste. The beer has "good legs," to borrow a wine descriptor. The thick, full bodied beer is quite enjoyable, but also quite filling.

Got this one from my buddy Dave from LV doing some canyons this weekend.
Pours a nice deep/thick black color, nice little tan foamy, with some minimal sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, with lots of chocolate/toffee/caramel. The taste follows the nose, malty/choco/toffee/caramel notes. Medium body. Drinkable, this is a pretty tasty AS, recommended.
