Tasted n tap at the drafthoues.
Deep copper, almost mahogany, and crystal clear. No head or lacing. Not much aroma, just faint caramel and vanilla. Flavors heavy on the barrel character, with vanilla and a bit of coconut, but the Belgian character is suppressed. Very low carbonation and lighter body for the style. Great concept, but in execution I’m missing the Belgian parts that I would love to have.
